At NOMB Changes, we believe that everyone deserves to feel the rush of riding a wave. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Swiss Wave Academy to bring you ‘Waves of Inclusion’, two heart-pumping, joy-spreading surfing eventes tailored for individuals with disabilities. This isn’t just about surfing; it’s about breaking barriers and celebrating every individual’s ability to join in the fun.

Our Dream
Waves of Inclusion seeks to foster social integration, enhance self-efficacy, and build a strong sense of community among participants. This project provides an accessible surfing experience that promotes not just physical activity but also mental well-being and social interaction.
We envision a world where everyone can share in the joy and community of surfing. With waves of inclusion, we want to take a big step towards more inclusive, supportive communities. Through surfing, we aim to promote social integration and boost self-confidence, all while having a fantastic time together.
Next: Wakesurf Day
Your wakesurf adventure surrounded by good vibes, stunning landscape and experienced coaches. After meeting at the beautiful Beckenried (Nidwalden) you hoppp onto the SwissWaveAcademy boat which takes you to the middle of the Vierwaldstaettersee.
Professional introduction to the surfteam, the boat, the boards and the wave will help you gaining confidence. There will be a whole team supporting your surfing, so don´t worry.
You will surf for a minimum of 30min, enjoying the rest of the time on the board, snacking, cheering and getting suntaned. We cannot wait to shred with you.
How to be involved
Whether you want to hit the waves for the first time or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, ‘Waves of Inclusion’ offers something for everyone. You can get in touch with us to find out more, ask questions and sign up for the wakesurfing day.
If you want to take part in surfing, there’s a participation fee of 130 CHF which will cover petrol and material at the wakesurf event (sign up below). If you don’t have the funds but are eager to join, don’t be shy, get in touch and we check if we can get your participation sponsored. We aim to make surfing accessible to everyone, that includes every budget.
Not in Luzern but you still want to get involved? By donating to us you will be an active part of Waves of Inclusion. Please note that we are currently collecting donations without a project specific purpose. This gives us the opportunity to use the funds available flexibly and to realise as many projects as possible. However, in the next step we give you the opportunilty to let us know that your heart beats for Waves of Inclusion.
