At NOMB Changes, we firmly believe: everyone deserves to experience the exhilarating feeling of riding a wave. That’s why we’ve teamed up with SwissWaveAcademy in Switzerland and THE.RIVERWAVE in Austria to bring you “Waves of Inclusion”: three high-energy surf events for people with disabilities, with joy at the heart of it all. This is about more than surfing; it’s about breaking down barriers and celebrating everyone’s ability to be part of the surf community.
In July, we’ll enjoy the adventure of wakesurfing on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lucerne. Our experts from SwissWaveAcademy will be by your side every step of the way, making sure you feel safe, supported, and free.
In early September, three blind people will take on something truly special in Ebensee: they’ll face the power of the Riverwave — an experience that calls for courage, trust, and the willingness to let go of control. It’s a project unlike any seen before in Upper Austria, showing what becomes possible when the focus shifts from limits to possibilities.
And in late September 2026, we’ll share the thrill of surfing a standing wave together — accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level — at Oana Surf, Lucerne’s citywave. Look forward to an event with plenty of waves and countless moments of pure stoke for our participants.
