Fuerteventura is more our home base, it is also a community that we care for. We believe that access to the ocean should never depend on physical or cognitive ability. That’s why we collaborate with local initiatives to remove barriers and open the water to everyone. By contributing professional coaching and safety expertise, we strengthen the inclusive work already happening on our island.
NOMB Changes acts as a bridge for local NGOs. When a community partner organizes an adaptive surf day or a para-surf event, we join their team to provide specialized coaching. Our co-founder, Angie Ringleb, brings over a decade of experience in accessible surf education to these sessions. By working together, we help that every participant receives the individual care and professional guidance they deserve.
These sessions are entirely non-profit. We offer our coaching free of charge to our partners, ensuring that local resources can go directly toward the participants. This project is about lived inclusion and the belief that a stronger, more connected surf community begins in our own local line-ups.

Our dream
We believe that meaningful change starts at home. Many local organizations do wonderful work but often need an extra pair of qualified hands to make their programs even safer and more frequent. Our dream is to create a culture of cooperation where knowledge and resources are shared freely across the island.
By providing professional coaching support, we help local teams carry out their sessions with complete confidence. We want to see a Fuerteventura where adaptive surfing is a natural part of daily life. Our support matters because it allows more participants to join, more waves to be caught, and more stories of “Quiet Courage” to be written in our local waters.
