Goldies Surf Gang 2026

Welcome to the Goldies Surf Gang 2026: A Special Week for Women Over 60

Welcome to a surf camp where you set the pace. This is a space to feel supported, empowered, and completely at home in the water—exactly as you are. Here, confidence grows steadily, curiosity leads the way, and the joy of the ocean always comes before performance.

In September 2026, the Goldies Surf Gang gathers on Fuerteventura, our beloved home base. Our surf sessions take place in small, intimate groups at carefully selected beaches, focusing on the gentle conditions perfect for learning and refining your skills. To ensure the highest level of personal care, we limit the group to just four participants, offering a premium 1:2 coaching ratio in the water.

Our coaching is adaptive and unhurried, leaving plenty of room for rest, recovery, and meaningful connection—both on land and in the sea.

Who is this for?
This camp is specifically designed for women aged 60 and over, including absolute beginners and experienced surfers. Whether you are a seasoned ocean lover or catching your very first wave, you are welcome here.

A Space for Quiet Courage & New Horizons

Our aim is to offer a surf experience designed specifically for women aged 60+ who are curious, active, and open to new horizons. We believe this stage of life holds immense space for movement, learning, and fresh perspectives—and it deserves experiences that truly reflect that potential.

The Goldies Surf Gang creates a setting where exploring and gently stepping outside one’s comfort zone feels safe and supported. Surfing becomes a way to build confidence through experience, not performance. By keeping our groups small, choosing calm ocean conditions, and providing clear, expert guidance, we lower both practical and emotional barriers. (To ensure this experience is accessible to all, scholarships are also available when needed.)

What we hope you take home is more than just time in the ocean. We want this week to feel like a gift to yourself. A chance to feel capable, relaxed, and deeply connected. It’s about forming new friendships, sharing moments of pure joy, and leaving with a sense of quiet courage that extends well beyond the beach.

Meet the team

Doro

Doro brings together structure, care, and a deep love for the outdoors. After leaving a permanent job in travel publishing, she found her way to the Atlantic, to surfing, and to new paths that continue to shape her work today.
Now based in the Allgäu, she works as a freelancer in online marketing and editorial, is a trained hiking guide and mental coach, and feels most at home where nature, movement, and meaningful exchange meet.
For Doro, surfing is not about performance but about connection: to the ocean, to oneself, and to others. She values good conversations, shared experiences, and creating spaces where people feel seen and supported. As trip organiser, she ensures that the week flows smoothly, calmly, and with attention to detail.

Angie

Angie is a professional surf coach based on Fuerteventura and the head coach of NOMB Surf. Her coaching style is clear, attentive, and grounded in experience, always adapted to the people in the water.
She creates a learning environment that feels professional without being rigid, and supportive without taking itself too seriously. There is focus, clarity, and safety – and always room for laughter.
For Angie, surfing is about trust, curiosity, and enjoyment. During the Goldies Surf Gang, she holds the space so participants can explore the ocean at their own pace and feel confident doing so.
